Strategic Communications maintains a photo pool on Flickr of images available for use by the campus community. Current students, staff and faculty may use the photos for academic purposes or official university business.

In addition, we have licensed some of these photos through Creative Commons, making them available to media outlets and other general users.

We also administer a CSU Monterey Bay Flickr group where users can share photos. Because photos are submitted by a variety of people, please contact the individual who submitted the photo for permission to use it and instructions on photo credit.

Lastly, we have an extensive photo pool in the Alumni & Visitors Center that is available to members of the CSU Monterey Bay campus community. If you cannot find a photo that meets your needs on Flickr, please schedule an appointment to browse the AVC photo pool in person during regular business hours.

Authorized Use

CSUMB provides these photo files to authorized users for official CSUMB purposes. Unauthorized usage constitutes copyright infringement and may violate individual privacy and publicity rights. To verify your right to use these images, please contact Strategic Communications.
